A Farewell Tribute Disney's Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps!

Just heard the news about upcoming changes to EPCOT's entertainment.

Mo'Rockin in the Morocco pavilion, Off Kilter in the Canada pavilion, the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps in the American Adventure pavilion and the World showcase players will be leaving EPCOT at the end of September.

I am so glad that we had the opportunity to see and participate in the Fife & Drum Corps on our last trip. It is a secret gem of EPCOT. My son loved marching with the other "soldiers."  He actually listened and followed the leader's directions with the best concentration a 2 1/2 year old boy  could do.  We were so proud of him, and we still have his copy of the US Constitution, rolled up but a little tattered.

I highly recommend if you visit in the next month to take some time to visit these acts before they disappear.
I trust Disney replace them with fun quality acts but I will always be nostalgic for the Fife and Drum Corps.
The new acts coming to the World Showcase are the Sbandieratori Flags in Italy, a lumberjack-based thrill show in Canada, B’net Houariyat, a musical/dance act in Morocco and Scottish Musical Trio, a Celtic musical group in United Kingdom. I can't wait to catch these on our next trip in November!  Who knows maybe we will find another family favorite.
